{DTR Real Wedding} Marie-Claire + Jon Paul: The Film Highlight

When we say we have the most awesome clients, it really truly isn't an understatement!  Marie-Claire + Jon Paul found us online, but from the moment we met with them, it was kismet.  Just a quick background, for those of you that know me, know I have a love and passion for soccer.  World Cup had just started and, when I say I watch the World Cup religiously, I'm not kidding.  The consult we had was over beer, vodka and a game of soccer in the background.

We met, we loved each other and MC + JP {as they affectionately call each other} signed on...the wedding planning journey was to begin.  A long engagement allowed us to plan the perfect details, but also allowed our busy couple to pace themselves, as MC was in Nursing school, JP was also taking courses and they were in the middle of having their home built!  Not to mention, they are raising their gorgeous baby husky, Asha! No pressure!  Before they married, MC graduated and was a nurse and their house was finally built!  Labor Day weekend rolled around and after months of planning pretty little details for a gorgeous rustic glam wedding, the BIG day was finally here!

July is here!  Can't believe half of the year has come and gone....my goodness, time sure flies when you're having fun!  Well, with July comes Christmas in July...so with that being said, it's time to start planning those holiday parties!

We're now taking bookings for the months of November and December.  Instead of trying to figure out what to do with this year's celebration, or just replicate last year's festivities, call on us to create an EXTRAORDINARY event!  Give us a call or shoot us an email and let's get planning!  The holidays will be here before you know it!

{#FBF} Linda + Jeff

When #TBT escapes us, we are happy to have #FBF, just so that we can post lovely couples like Linda + Jeff, who wed back in 2010.  A beautiful celebration of love between two amazing people!  It warms our hearts to relive this beautiful day with a Tea Ceremony, followed by a traditional Catholic celebration and a super fun reception.  My goodness how time flies!

One of the most rewarding experiences in our job is creating memories that will last a lifetime.  We had the complete honor and pleasure to plan, design and orchestrate the union of one of the sweetest, beautiful and UH-MAZING couples...Lindsey + Ines.  After a year of planning, bonding, and not just with the couple but with family, their big day arrived.  We have to say it was a bittersweet moment for us, as we kicked of 2015 with our first wedding of the year, but our last at the original Petroleum Club of Houston, not to mention, we were the penultimate wedding at the location; we all wanted to make sure it was "a day to remember".  We will share with you the pictures of this gorgeous wedding soon, but we just have to share their Wedding Day highlight, beautifully documented by the talented Mark Calver of Dakine Films.  We couldn't be happier with the end product, we actually got a bit teary-eyed reliving this beautiful day.

Lush flowers, towering cakes and distinctive attention to details are just a few of the elements to a perfect wedding.  Add elegance, sophistication and glamour in a timeless design and you have a recipe for the perfect luxurious wedding. 

When Weddings in Houston Magazine reached out to us for a styled shoot, of course, we were pretty stoked, mainly because it allows us the opportunity to play with colors, design and concept.  When we think of a timeless weddings, the Four Seasons came to mind...immediately!  Add in gorgeous flowers, candles, and some pop of color for a modern twist and you get a beautiful styled shoot.  The cherry to the chocolate sundae?  A nice four-page spread in this edition's Weddings in Houston Magazine!
