CNN: A Day To Remember on National News

So, a few weeks back, I'd shared some fabulous news about being featured on CNN. Well, this week is the week! :) Yes, my faithful readers, CNN will be airing us on the following dates:

Air dates for the feature are as follow:

• Monday 6/22 in the 5:00 a.m. half-hour
• Wednesday 6/24 in the 5:30 a.m. half-hour
• Thursday 6/25 in the 8:00 a.m. half-hour

If you miss it, don't worry! CNN already has us on their website, which you can view below.



I love my job and the fact that CNN selected us over any other planner in Houston is a great validation! It is because of moments like this that all the work, stress and sleepless nights that go into my job, make it all worthwhile!

A big THANK YOU goes to each and everyone of you who has helped us get to where we are. Without your support and trust in us, we wouldn't be as successful! :)

Make-Up: It's What Every Girl Loves!

Greetings my faithful readers! I hope you all had a fabulous Memorial Day weekend!

We had an extremely busy weekend and I will elaborate more on that in another post, but for now I want to write about one of my favorite make up artists: Ms. Jordan Temple, founder and lead artist of Jordan Temple Hair and Make Up.

Many of my brides have used her and I'm pleased to say she will also do my make up on my wedding day. :) Why am I bragging about her? Well, not only is she a phenomenal person, make up artist and soon-to-be-mommy, but she is launching her new make up line! Now is the time to purchase some great new make up, just in time for the summer!

Happy News!

I am extremely excited and feel truly blessed! After a long weekend, jam-packed with weddings, this morning, I received some great news that has made my day.

A little back story, CNN contacted me in late February wanting to do a news piece on me and my company, after they did some research of event & wedding planners in Houston.

We felt very honored to have been selected, since Houston is only the fourth largest city in the US, not to mention the fact that Houston is home to many great and professional planners. To be the first choice is most certainly an honor indeed!

Fast forward to March, CNN flew into Houston and shadowed my team and me for an entire day for our Quinceañera event. Our Quinceañera was definitely nervous and excited about the thought of having her special day aired, even if for a minute on national TV. :)

Fast forward again, to the present. This morning, when opening my email, I received one from CNN informing me of the air dates for the piece, set for June. Yay! Talk about media exposure! As the dates get closer, we will keep everyone informed of the exact air dates and times. We do plan on having a Viewing Party, so stay tuned for that!

Needless to say, we are truly excited and blessed. Many thanks to everyone who has helped us get to where we are today!
