We have been very blessed to have such a great start to a wonderful year, keeping busy with everything from booking, hiring and restructuring our little company! I did want to share with you some quick pictures from this year's Weddings in Houston "I DO Soiree", which was held at the beautiful The Houstonian Hotel Club & Spa.

We had such a fabulous time and booked some fabulous brides on the spot. Welcome to all our new brides, we are excited about your weddings!

A big thank you goes out to the fabulous staff at Weddings in Houston. They worked long and hard and the outcome was a fabulous event indeed! We look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Australia + Brian: The Engagement Session

When I first met Australia, I thought to myself, WOW, what a beautiful lady! Well, not only is she beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. I can see why Brian is a lucky man! Australia and Brian had struggled on finding the perfect day for their engagement session, as we've had some crazy weather for the past month or so!

Australia and Brian finally had their engagement session and I was anxiously awaiting to see the result. The pictures are just absolutely gorgeous and truly do not disappoint! :) You can view more at Blake's Blog under Australia and Brian's Engagements, but I just had to share a few here. Enjoy!

A day of many celebrations....

Today has been a wonderful day and I'd like to take this time to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Year of the Tiger and many congratulations to all the newly engaged couples! It is truly a day of celebration for so many reasons.

Why You Should Hire A Wedding Planner...

Oftentimes, we hear brides tell us they want to plan the wedding themselves, as it's been their childhood dream. Many brides have turned towards the DIY trend. All of that is fine and dandy, but how well prepared are you in making the right decisions about your prospective vendors? Nowadays, brides are just as busy with a full-time job and don't have the time to do all the research in booking reputable vendors, or know how to go about execution their dream wedding. Other brides think that if they find an all-inclusive venue, they no longer have to worry about the rest of the planning, as all services are handled within one place.
