{Real Wedding} Ashley + Jared

I know I've said this before, but I can't help to say I'm truly blessed to have such amazing clients.  When I met Ashley and her mom for our initial meeting, we bonded almost immediately and there began a beautiful relationship.  Even though at the time I hadn't met Jared, I felt as though I knew him, just seeing how Ashley would gush about this wonderful guy.  When I finally did meet Jared, I could see why Ashley was quite smitten by him!

This fabulous couple may look familiar to you...well, they were featured in Modern Luxury Brides Magazine's "Hitched in Houston" {check out the quick feature here}.  Well, now I have some amazing photos, by the awesome Nicole Chatham of Nicole Chatham Photography, that really document the love between these two.  Ashley+Jared is a fun-loving couple, who by the way LOVE to dance and have a fantastic time!

We're excited about the Fall|Winter issue of Modern Luxury Brides Magazine!  Why you ask?  Well, we're feeling humbled and honored to have a couple of features....

First up, on a Wed Dossier feature, our pretty organic bouquet, along with some other great florists.  We highlighted our little section in pink for your viewing pleasure.

I love that our beautiful couple, Calia+Peter had their gorgeous wedding featured as well.  I have to say, this was one fun, easy-going couple and this month they celebrated their one year anniversary!  Happy Anniversary Calia+Peter!

One of our sweet sweet sweet couples from March, Ashley+Jared were featured in Hitched in Houston. We are so blessed to have some amazing couples, allowing me to smile every time I think about them and their perfect day!

Planning a wedding is an exhilarating experience and something I thrive for on a daily basis, but nothing is sweeter than planning a baby shower.  Planning such an event, in anticipation of a new life entering our world, is always exciting!  Such was the case when our beautiful mommy-to-be, Daisy and I brainstormed to come up with a fabulous shower that would be indicative of who she is and the results were truly amazing!

{Specials} Mother's Day

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday and spent it with family and loved ones.  One of the reasons why I love this time of year is because Houston, while it offers its "fabulous" humidity, some gorgeous weather makes up for the immense humidity!  I know it's God's way of giving us such beautiful flowers, painting our gardens with a burst of breathtaking colors!  Every where I turn, I see an array of Spring bulbs, from tulips, calla lilies and daffodils, to perennials like azaleas and periwinkles.

May is host to one of the sweetest holidays of the year:  Mother's Day; a day to celebrate and honor that special lady in our hearts.  Well, we are making it easy for you with some wonderful Mother's Day specials we have going on!
