Lee's Bridals

Very few times a photographer has the perfect model for bridals, and Lee was most certainly the epitome of the perfect one. She has the grace, the beauty and the flair for the camera.

I'd been dying to post up Lee's bridals, but of course, I couldn't do that, as I didn't want Allan taking a sneak peek at Lee's dress and her full wedding ensemble.

The bridals took place in a small church, as Lee stated, "in the middle of nowhere", but it held a great sentimental value for her, as this is where she was first baptized.

The wedding theme: Vintage Glamour
The flowers: Poppies, anemones, sweet peas, tulips and ranunculus

Many thanks to Graham of Crown Photographic for the stunning and breathtaking pictures!

Enjoy!

My personal favorite!

Jessica + Balentine

Photo Credit: A Day To Remember

This past weekend was definitely a busy one! We had two fabulous weddings. For now, I'm including pictures from Jessica and Balentine. The theme for their wedding was cherry blossoms, focusing on a periwinkle blue and chocolate brown color scheme.

When Jessica told us, her then fiance, was a welder and she wanted to incorporate welding into the groom's cake, we came up the idea of creating a cake in the shape of a welder's mask.

For the centerpieces, trees with crystal garlands and white orchids added the final embellishment for a romantic atmosphere.

The wedding cake, a Vanilla & Chocolate marble cake, filled with Chocolate Mousse and iced in a rich Vanilla butter creme icing. Blue hand-made gumpaste flowers added the touches to a cherry blossom themed cake.

The Welder's Mask, a nod to Balentine's and his welding skills.

Also a Vanilla and Chocolate Marble with Chocolate Mousse filling.

Silver painted trees, accented with white Dendrobium Orchids and glass crystal garlands.

An overall view of the room.

Many thanks to The Tuscany Villa for being so accommodating!

Easter Specials Are In!

Greetings my faithful readers!

We would like to take this time to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER! Spring is finally here, and with it, the opportunity to celebrate in numerous ways!

First just a tad bit of some Easter history. Easter is originally a Pagan festival, in honor of Eastre, the goddess of Spring, but today it is celebrated by Christians, honoring the resurrection of Jesus Christ, also marking the forty day period of Lent.

Now, on to the celebrating...what better than with some perfect treats! We have some cute and fun sweet treats, great for the kiddos and the kiddos at heart. We have some great flower arrangements, perfect for your Easter decor.

Be sure to celebrate by having a intimate lunch or a fabulous picnic with family and friends. Brighten and freshen up the home with Tulips and Lilies. Decorate your home with fun pastel colors such as lime greens, bright pinks and pale yellows. Be sure to have those chocolate eggs handy in every room! Decorate those eggs with the kiddos and partake in the Easter Egg hunt! Most importantly, have fun!

Happy Easter everyone. Don't forget you can place your orders by emailing us at orders@daytoremember.net or by calling our office.
