Who says Friday the 13th is bad luck? If this day is slated for bad luck, this was most certainly not the case for Jennifer and James, as they celebrated their nuptials this past Friday, March 13th at the beautiful Paraiso Maravilla. The evening couldn't have been more romantic, with candles lit all over the place, the inspirations sounds of a fabulous gospel and the romantic ambiance of a soft rain. Many thanks to the staff of Paraiso Maravilla for being so accommodating! Below are just a few preliminary pictures. Enjoy!

The blushing bride, just before the ceremony.












The centerpieces, pilsner vases filled with red river rocks, curly willow and white dendrobium orchids, topped with a lamp shade and tap light....a design from the bride.


The wedding cake, a rich and moist Red Velvet cake, filled with cream cheese icing and covered in a chocolate whipped icing.

A fellow UH Alumni, James pays tribute to his alma mater. The cake...an Amaretto Butter cake, filled with raspberry and cream cheese filling and covered in an Amaretto Chocolate butter creme icing.
