Lee + Allan, Part II

Okay...so here is Part II...the ceremony & reception. Guests were greeted with the fabulous sounds of bagpipes, a nod to Lee's Irish heritage. After a beautiful ceremony, a wonderful Italian feast, guests were entertained with some fabulous great belly dance performances.

This was one fabulous wedding, filled with so many personal touches. Enjoy the pictures!

Candles were set throughout the venue.

The bagpiper performed just beautifully.

The bridesmaids really enjoyed their feathers.

Cutest flower girl I've seen, thus far.

The aisle was adorned with black satin swags, accented with red feather pomanders with pearl handles.

The first kiss.

....many more kisses followed.

The wedding cake...a Black Forest cake, filled with a cherry concoction. Almond fondant icing with a black and white damask pattern.

The first dance.

Lee dancing with her dad...Allan dancing with his mom.

Lee and Allan sharing a private moment...this has got to be one of my favorite pictures.

An interesting view of the room.

Belly dancers...

...and more belly dancers!

Detail shot of the wedding cake and Lee's bouquet.

Enjoying some cake!

The guests never stopped dancing.

Time to throw the bouquet!

The exit with rose petals.

Congratulations to Lee and Allan!

Lee + Allan, Part I

When I first received the CD in the mail by Graham, of Crown Photographic, I was so ecstatic. I'd been waiting for so long for the pictures of this fabulous wedding. To give you a visual background, here's a quick reminder! :)

Lee and Allan are just one of the coolest couples I've met, and not just because Lee is practically family, but because she's just an all-around awesome person and a phenomenal belly dancer. When I first met Allan, he hadn't even begun thinking about quitting his job, next thing I knew, he just up and quit the job, enrolled in the the police academy and is now serving our city well. Congrats to Allan! :)

Now let's talk about their wedding! Lee and Allan were originally set to marry at The Tuscany of Garden Oaks. Well, we all know how that ended. Needless to say, we had to act fast and got them into Rockefeller Hall. So know Lee had to change the entire theme and colors of the wedding. I believe things happen for a reason, and Lee and Allan's wedding is definitely a testament to this. The wedding theme: Vintage & Feathers. The colors: Black & White with Red accents. The result: Perfection!

Because I have so many pictures to share from this beautiful wedding, I will be posting in parts, so here is Part I of the wedding. Enjoy!

Lee's Bouquet: Anemones, tulips, sweet peas, ranunculus...accented with red feathers.

Damask was used throughout. The beautiful Sign-In table adorned with pictures of both their families, including wedding pictures!

The guest tables: Damask table linens, accented with red and black feathers, candles and pearls.

Lee's little brothers performed a double duty as ring bearers, but also as newspaper boys! Just like in the roaring 20's...only they distributed newspaper format programs. So cute! :)

Another centerpiece shot.

Ooops! Can't look! Lee covered in feathers while getting ready.

How beautiful is she?

The cute boys again...can't get enough of them! :)

...and again!

The beautiful bridesmaids, ready with their feathers!

The sexy little red shoes!

The beautiful bride...ready and just breathtaking!

Stay tuned for Part II!
