The Wedding of Jamie & Joe.....

Photo Credit: A Day To Remember & Evoke Photography

You may recognize the beautiful bride from our one of our previous posts during her bridal shoot. Well, Jamie and Joe finally tied the knot and what a beautiful wedding it was. When Jamie first came to us for her flowers, she was hesitant on colors, initially going with blue and white. We added a touch of celadon green to the mix and days later Jamie decided she wanted more. So, her final color choices were fabulous varying from blue, to orange, green and red.

Here are just a few pictures of the flowers we did for the wedding. Many thanks to Evoke Photography for providing us with the pictures. Enjoy!

Jamie's bouquet was a combination of calla lilies, roses, orchids and irises.

The bridesmaids' bouquets were a combination of hydrangeas, roses and orchids.

Galvanized buckets filled with hydrangeas, alstromerias and mini roses served as the pew markers.

A better shot of the pew markers.

The Sign-In Table.

The centerpieces consisted of galvanized buckets, filled with hydrangeas, roses and orchids.

The flowers on the cake consisted of roses with irises, with the bouquets garnishing the cake table.

And they are off!

A big thank you to Memorial Drive United Methodist Church for providing a beautiful backdrop and to Courtyard on St. James for being such gracious hosts and so accommodating!

Not Just Wedding Cakes...

Photo Credit: A Day To Remember

We are constantly receiving phone calls or emails asking if we do more than just wedding cakes. Of course we do! We offer cakes for each and every special occasion, from birthdays, corporate, risque and just because!

Just to give you an idea, I've posted some of our recent "fun" cakes for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

This was a fun cake the client wanted for a co-worker who loves fishing.

The little character was a duplication of the adamant fisher.

An engagement cake replicating the actual invitation.

For anyone who is familiar with "Love American Style", you may recognize the morphed design incorporating Shell's logo/colors. The couple met at Shell, so it was only fitting.

Jennie & Cody....

What better way to celebrate 4th of July than getting married? Well, Jennie and Cody did just that, celebrated their love on our nation's Independence.

Jennie first came to us after finding us on The Knot. From our initial meeting, what started off as a work relationship turned into a beautiful friendship as well.

Many thanks to Evoke Photography for the beautiful photos! I always believe that pictures are worth a thousand words...so enjoy!

Congratulations Mrs. Ellison!

On May 31st, Veronica made her dreams a reality. The ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Trevisio Restaurant, located in the Medical Center.

For Veronica's bouquet, we created a beautiful bouquet of Flame Mini Calla Lilies. For her arrangements, we combined a mixture of Birds of Paradise, Bella Donna Delphiniums and green Hypericum Berries.

Many thanks go to Veronica and Tom for allowing us to be a part of their wedding!

Keeping it in the family...

A few years back, we had the pleasure of designing the flowers and cakes for Kristi. Fast forward to this year, and now Kristi's sister, Jamie is getting married. This past week, Jamie had her bridal portraits at Sisters of Charity Park on St. Joseph's Parkway. We couldn't ask for better weather, considering how hot and humid Houston can be! As special THANK YOU to Evoke Photography for providing us with these beautiful pictures.

Enjoy!
