Houston Brides Cake Feature

So a few months ago, we were contacted by Modern Luxury Brides Magazine to see if we'd like to participate in December's cake feature.

• The challenge: To design a cake using a Houston wedding reception venue as inspiration.
  
• The choices: The Crystal Ballroom, Hotel ZaZa, La Colombe D'Or and The St. Regis Hotel. Fortunately, I had first pick, and without a question or doubt, I knew I had to go with Hotel ZaZa, for it's fun and whimsical feel.
