Today we celebrate Summer Solstice. A few quick facts:

• Summer Solstice is the year's longest day with the shortest night.
• Solstice derives from the Latin words "sun" and "stand still"; so as our summer days lengthen, the sun rises much higher into the sky, giving us the illusion that our sun stands still!
