Lauren + Geoff: The Wedding, Part I

I'm excited to finally share with you all the wonderful pictures capturing Lauren + Geoff's beautiful wedding. Sam Le of Sunny 16 Photography sure has made my job difficult with so many pictures to choose from! Lauren + Geoff got married on May 15th; well, if all you Houstonians remember, that was the one Saturday that we enjoyed a heck of a lot of rain! It started raining the day before and didn't really let up until about two o'clock that Saturday. Normally, that would be okay, only problem was that this beautiful wedding was set to be held outdoors! Although we had a back up plan, it wasn't quite the same and guests would have been in a tight squeeze.

Well Mother Nature just wanted to test our patience, as well as that of the beautiful bride's and the handsome groom. I have to give my wonderful Associate Planner, Sarah so much credit for the phenomenal job in handling her FIRST wedding by herself and taking on all the challenges that came with working around Mother Nature. I had my own outdoor wedding at another location (another future post about that), so I wasn't even around for this one. In the end, Mother Nature switched gears and let the sun come out and Lauren + Geoff had their dream wedding just as originally planned.

I have so many pictures to share, so this is going to be a two-part blog so that I can overload you with some great eye candy! First up, the pre-ceremony portion with detail shots. Thank you again Sam for the GORGEOUS pictures! Enjoy!
